Commercial Solar Inverters
The inverter is the brain of every PV system — it converts DC from the panels into AC your factory uses, while handling PLN grid synchronisation, protection and production reporting. A poorly chosen inverter can waste 3–5% of output every year, so the choice cannot just chase the lowest price.
For commercial PV we use two architectures: string inverters (flexible, redundant, ideal for roofs with multiple orientations) and central inverters (cost-efficient for ground-mount and large uniform roofs). The choice follows roof layout, shading profile and O&M strategy.
Typical commercial sizing
Our systems generally use 50–250 kW inverters per unit, combined for a total of 200 kWp–2 MWp. The DC/AC ratio is optimised (typically 1.1–1.3) for maximum output without excessive clipping.
