Ground-Mount Solar Farms
Not every factory has enough roof — but many have vacant land. Ground-mount solar turns unused land on a plant site or industrial estate into a large-scale power plant, with the freedom to set the optimal tilt and orientation that rooftops can't match.
We design ground-mount systems with hot-dip galvanised steel structures that resist tropical corrosion, foundations matched to soil conditions (pile or concrete), and a layout that minimises self-shading between rows. For large land, a central-inverter architecture delivers the most competitive cost per kWp.
Typical commercial sizing
Our ground-mount projects generally run 1 MWp to 10 MWp. As a guide, 1 MWp of ground-mount needs roughly 1–1.5 hectares depending on row spacing.
Components & scope
- Land survey, soil testing and foundation design.
- Galvanised-steel mounting structures at optimal tilt.
- Tier-1 modules, central inverters, step-up transformer and grid connection.
- Access roads, drainage, fencing and SCADA.
Who it's for
Factories with vacant land, industrial estates wanting a shared plant, and companies pursuing large renewable-energy targets.
Timeline & O&M
MWp-scale ground-mount projects usually take 3–8 months from design to commissioning. O&M covers module cleaning, vegetation management and structural inspection.
ROI
With lower cost per kWp and optimised output, ground-mount often delivers the best LCOE — typical payback 6–9 years depending on tariff and offtake.
Indicative pricing
2026 indicative benchmark for ground-mount solar:
| System | Type | Indicative price |
|---|---|---|
| Ground-mount 1–3 MWp | Turnkey EPC | IDR 9–10.5 M / kWp |
| Ground-mount 3–10 MWp | Turnkey EPC | IDR 8.5–10 M / kWp |
| Feasibility + design | Per project | Per scope |
